  • Angrezi Medium

It has a few short and funny scenes, interrupted by long and meandering conversations that do not appear to lead anywhere. This lack of overall balance in the narrative, affects your viewing concentration, and you cannot put your finger on the genre on display.

  • Baaghi 3

Tiger has a sculpted and finely chiselled torso that turns his action sequences into a dance form. But when the content in the script becomes slimmer, and, inversely, the propaganda element in the movie increases, the hero begins to look like an empty vessel.

...is not interested in this discussion. For a movie that highlights the abysmal condition of smaller actors, sustained by audience nostalgia alone, it avoids speaking on the bigger picture.

  • Love Aaj Kal

What is confounding is that the refined film technique we have seen and liked in his oeuvre, goes missing here. This movie looks and sounds like a bad student film.

...the emotional resonance, moments of poignancy, that you expect from a Meghna Gulzar film, are missing. What is left is an uneven movie.

  • Dabangg 3

The characteristic style of the franchise disintegrates, until the narrative implodes in a messy trail of unbelievable plot turns and disjunctive scenes.

  • Bala

...is an entertaining film. But ultimately, it is an unconvincing presentation on the tribulation of early hair loss.

  • Ujda Chaman

...does fall prey to a few rom-com cliches in the middle. But it perks up later on, and treats us to some delightfully well played and resonant scenes between the lead actors, sequences that bring a measure of proportionality to the film.

  • Judgemental Hai Kya

So apart from the occasionally engaging antics of Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, the film ends up with little educative or entertainment value. This movie has a good cast, but ultimately disappoints.
