    ...works for the die-hard romantics and fans of the lead stars. For the rest it is an average storyline with good amount of repetitiveness embedded with superlative performances.

    ...is its very original and rooted in Indian countryside storyline. And as the story flows the director manages to bring to life so many aspects of rural life that it makes Daayan Ya Baayen very real and entertaining.

    The biggest problem in the movie is similar to the problems in most of the movies we see - Screenplay and dialogues. The writer never seems to attempt to bring in any reasoning and the director is too happy creating nice looking visuals.

    Brokeback Mountain it most certainly is not. DYNJK is not handled with such maturity as the Hollywood Oscar winner. Here you don't feel empathy for the character by pity for yourself.

    is a case well presented. There is an attempt to draw a safe line hence as the director tries not going against the code of law as he presents the case. It is a delight to watch for the superb performances.

    ...has its own newness. The characters are very appealing and so is the treatment. The film has been written interestingly with a lot of humour added at regular intervals.
