  • Bank Chor

Even if one overlooks at the glaring loopholes in its tonal switch and professed slyness, it's frustrating how much Bank Chor delays its denouement because nobody cried wolf.

  • Befikre

If Befikre's sole objective is to prove Aditya Chopra's not a prude, he only embarrasses himself by going overboard with two sexually explicit characters who might even be more fond of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge than he is.

  • Begum Jaan

In its preoccupation with drama, Begum Jaan neglects to reveal its soul. As a consequence, you feel nothing for the characters, their cause or fate.

  • Besharam

...is so unbelievably sloppy and senseless, not even the best actors in the business can redeem it no matter how hard they try.

  • Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

...this indecision to project Bhaag Milkha Bhaag as either a) a man dealing with the painful memories of his childhood in partition era, b) the blossoming of a happy-go-lucky army man into a superstar athlete or c) why an individual doesn't want to visit Pakistan overlaps too often in this three-hour plus, flashback-within-flashback drama to ruin a potentially promising premise.

  • Bhaiaji Superhittt

Such gigs have outlived their shelf life and do little more than humiliate our nostalgia for a shopworn action hero when a movie stinks as badly as Bhaiaji Superhit.

  • Bhangra Paa Le

It’s a fairly ambitious if unoriginal premise let down by staid vision, spiritless writing, middling choreography and music.

  • Bhoomi

...Bhoomi’s blood-splattering, bone-crunching vigour is as unwelcome as the rest of this ghastly movie.

  • Bhoothnath Returns

Whatever connect the towering Bachchan makes with his viewer is rudely disrupted to accommodate mediocre songs or misplaced sentimentalism in a prolonged slide show of poignant portraits making Bhoothnath's return quite a drag in the end.

  • Blank

The point behind this poorly made wingding is a debut. Karan Kapadia is Dimple Kapadia's nephew and the late actress-turned-costume designer Simple Kapadia's son.

  • Blood Money

...while Dabangg offered a precise volume of coolness and chutzpah, Ready went overboard with the shtick. Bodyguard, meanwhile, is on the underwhelming side.

  • Boss

Given the low benchmark of this genre, it’s akin to praise when I say Boss is neither as absurd as Rowdy Rathore nor as ghastly as Policegiri.

  • Budhia Singh

From fame to obscurity, hunger to heartbreak, Budhia’s story is both sensational and sad. But, most of all, it’s incomplete with no finishing line in sight.

  • Bypass Road

No amount of thunder and lightning, cats and threats, conveniently forsaken homes to carry out a long-drawn-out clash between masked intruders and wheelchaired victims (something the recent Game Over did so well) can chart Bypass Road's bumpy course.

  • Chakravyuh

...is nothing more than an average action flick in the garb of relevant cinema where socio-politico turmoil is nothing more than a prop and gun-toting militants in uniforms and bandanas hollering 'Lal Salaam' fill up the frames.

  • Chalk N Duster

Mistaking intent for quality, Chalk N Duster’s greatest drawback is that it tries to take the high moral ground without substantiating its material or projecting the least bit of depth

  • Chef

Grown up angst is a valid and neglected aspect of our storytelling. Except Menon’s digressing exploration of it feels more dull than delicious.

  • Chhapaak

Meghna Gulzar documents Chhapaak's grim reality barefacedly without losing sight of its character's quiet determination to fight the reasons that make such heinous crimes possible in the first place.

  • Chhichhore

It’s the writing where Chhichhore shows solid talent.

At all times, its feel-good optimism is much too entertaining to resist.
