Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai
The film may not boast of a great story, a scintillating script, but it has enough to keep you smiling.
a light-hearted entertainer targeted at the youth. It has a thoroughly entertaining first half, but a routine second half. A decent watch!
...it should be liked by the Gen X, who would love the new concept of love between a boy from earth and an alien girl.
What disappoints is the sloppy script. The idea between alien-human love is interesting but the story doesn’t materialize as we would expect.
...is resolutely pedestrian.
It tries to be funny, but is barely so. It tries even harder to be sweet and romantic and ends up being yucky-mushy.
The only way you can mildly amuse yourself with this sham is a) Do not ask questions. b) Do not think. c) Ignore the stereotypes...
Don't expect to be swept off your feet. This one is meant to tickle your fancy. And it doesn't fall short.
It's got moments that will make you smile, but it's hardly out of this world.
A brilliant first half doesn't materialise into an entertaining second, leaving you famished for something substantial.
Compared to the films we’ve been witnessing over the few weeks, this one would qualify as an average watch. A couple of moments of fun, that’s it.
...passable fare.
The film fails to make you laugh and is filled with cheesy and heavy romantic lines borrowed from yesteryear films.
...practically everything about the film, including this pair which we last saw in `Aladin’, feels like we’ve seen it a hundred times over.
...the sheer indulgence with which Milap Zaveri turns what could have been a simple love story into a barrage of caricatures hamming all the way is disappointing. The film has very few moments that impress.
...a script that has been slapped together by a bunch of juveniles, and directed by the head juvenile.
...barely watchable...
...a very silly film, stuffed with PJs as in poor, painful, pre-hormonal, pseudo, puerile jokes. The very stupid premise of the film makes you grimace, and then the fun never ever follows.
...a flake, fake, forced version of mainstream-proper...
