My Friend Pinto

...is one happy, no-frills film that's sure to make you smile.

...definitely a feel good movie. One, which an entire family can enjoy together.

...is worth the smile it generates – but so much more seems to be left undone.

...won't leave you splitting with laughter, it'll put a million dollar smile on your face.

These are interesting times. Different voices. Newer faces. Still Bollywood.

Pinto had a chance to go beyond what it is - a relentless, madcap, physical comedy. But it stops short of relevance, substance, and depth.

...the situations lose focus of the genre and become outright childish and gimmicky.

Prateik's a fine actor. He needs to make the right choices.

...the only time the film sparkles is when super-charming actors Prateik and Kalki descend on the screen and make some magic. Unfortunately these moments are sparse, and snowballed under the sub-plot-stuffed story.

...the end is energetic, making up, somewhat, for the random, chaotic air the film has worn till it gets there. But the rest is strictly amateursville.

...a crazy, crazy movie. And crazy need not necessarily always be used in a good way.

...a terrible waste of a terrific opportunity!

See this only if you are a Prateik Babbar fan. Else avoid.

In trying to make Prateik fit that hat Raaghav Dar's My Friend Pinto suffers from a spectacular case of miscasting.
