...had the potential to be a really zesty surprise. But in the pursuit of turning it into an Indian family film on relationships the movie squandered all chances of the unique premise. But the strong emotional value and the slice-of-life dialogue of the movie do hold it in good stead.

  • CRD

A vivid experience of an art film, CRD is inimitable and intensely niche. At times a little too strange for the average and feeble mind.

  • Bhoomi

While the film looks like a slick product, it doesn't get the emotion and drama right. A jaded story and some lacklustre writing make it look tired and unconvincing.

We know cause based films are the norm right now and maybe the idea behind the film was prison reform. It’s heart was in the right place but everything else wasn’t...

...is a fine and fresh comedy. It does more to prove the leading lady's talent rather than entertain. But end of the day, it’s a clean and happy film.

  • Poster Boys

It’s not the freshest of films. It’s a comedy that serves up more of the same. While that’s not necessarily a bad thing, it’s also not the most exciting prospect.

  • Daddy

The big problem with the film is its middle-of-the-road ambitions. It’s a commercial film that’s trying to be as authentic as a documentary and as sublime as an art film. That’s where it drops the proverbial ball.

  • Baadshaho

Even as it serves up all the tricks in the commercial cinema book, it never quite connects with the audience. The thrills pan out like empty stunts without the right emotion.

  • Sniff

It plays safe in an attempt to be real and that’s the biggest disappointment. Sniff could’ve and should’ve been a lot more creative.

...is no satire or subliminal piece on the history of Indian politics. It takes too many cinematic liberties, but thankfully its focus on the strong female lead lends it credibility and keeps the jingoism curbed.

  • Munna Michael

What this movie lacks is self-belief and great music. If the whole point of the film was to make it a tribute to Michael Jackson then MJ’s original tunes should have been used.

...is quite literally a thrill-a-minute ride. Its scenes are powerful and the best part is, the effort put in by the actors. Director Ravi Udyawar crafts an intense, taut and gratifying thriller.

This is a sweet little film alright, but the emotional inconsistencies just don’t iron out. It’s a classic case of what could've been a great film, settles for much less.

  • Bank Chor

Director Bumpy and his team of writers may not have done enough to please the classes, but their spunky little film has enough thrills and laughs to give the massy crowds value for money.
