  • Paltan

This is a mockery of the lives of soldiers who are shown to be foolhardy, stupid and crying at the drop of a hat. The dialogues are so trite they have been taken off quote sites. All in all a waste of time.

  • Laila Majnu

The gal is meh, so the magic of instant love seems to be missing. But the writing is brilliant and the lad is too. Looks like Imtiaz Ali has got his mojo back.

  • Stree

...the film swings from fun to tedious and then piques your interest in the horror and lets it fizzle out, making the whole experience like finding that your expensive coffee is only froth and no brew.

  • Gold

The conflict is fine, the principle characters beautifully etched, but what drags the film down is its predictability and its slow pace.

  • Vishwaroop II

...even though this is an action film, it takes effort to stay awake through totally implausible things happening on the screen. And for a Kamal Haasan fan, a huge disappointment to acknowledge that vanity overtook his talent.

  • Fanney Khan

The film is based on a story from a Dutch film 'Everybody is Famous', but for a music based story the music isn't up to par. What shines are performances for Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Everyone else, especially his daughter deserve a good hiding.

  • Sanju

This is a work of fiction masquerading as a biopic. And Rajkumar Hirani may have violins standing by to manipulate emotions, and he has Ranbir Kapoor mimicking Sanjay Dutt's mannerisms, but the movie remains a vanilla version of a life full of violence induced by drugs, guns, bad company and women.

  • Race 3

If you've seen Race movies, then you will know that everyone double crosses everyone else in really tacky disco, hotel settings. Everyone drives really expensive cars that are shown in wild car chases and expensive cars are blown up without impunity.

  • Parmanu

John Abraham needs to be applauded for choosing unusual stories. That said, if the execution of this film weren't so shabby, 'Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran' would have been a taut thriller.

  • Khajoor Pe Atke

There's nothing subtle about this film. There's no dark comedy here. There's only loud acting, ghastly music and comic sounds that deafen you and blind you to the really, really funny bits in the film.
