  • Marjaavaan

If Marjaavaan is an attempt to turn Sidharth Malhotra into a bonafide massy action star then it fails to do so on all counts.

Ayushmann has gotten under the skin of his complex character with aplomb. The angst, the insecurity felt by him is almost palpable. Cause-based films do bring out the best in him and the question is how long his romance with such subjects would continue...

  • Ujda Chaman

...while the film does raise some important issues, it suffers from faulty execution. It comes across as a missed opportunity at best...

  • Yaaram

...is a film made with the right intentions but suffers from faulty execution. The film's screenplay, direction and editing all needed more work.

  • Laal Kaptaan

...has superb production values, a nice background score, and doesn't disappoint in the acting department as well. Of only the narrative flowed at a faster pace, we would have had a cracker of a film indeed.

  • Prassthanam

...better attention to details and towards editing would have added to the film's dramatic impact. In its current form, it feels like an unfinished product at best...

  • Section 375

The industry went through its phase of #Metoo allegations. Does Section 375 hints through its bizarre ending that all those accusations weren't quite kosher? Well, your guess is as good as mine...

  • Saaho

Go for it if you're a die-hard Prabhas fan and like leave-your-brains-behind kind of action. Otherwise avoid.

  • Jabariya Jodi

...while Jabariya Jodi is saying all the right things, it falters in the execution. Better attention to detail would really have made a wealth of difference for the film.

  • Khandaani Shafakhana

Where the film stumbles majorly is in the screenplay and editing. There is a lack of coherency in both the departments that kind of drags the film down. The film has been made with its heart in the right place.

  • Judgemental Hai Kya

The film looks like something out of French New Wave cinema in most parts but segues into commercial Hindi cinema territory as well. Imagine Polanski's Repulsion (1965) given a Manmohan Desai treatment.

  • Super 30

The film belongs to Hrithik Roshan. He makes you forget the bad make-up and varying accent through his sheer involvement in the role. He underplays the anger, the pain, as well as the joy,  felt by his character and makes us believe in Anand Kumar.

  • Malaal

The industry is always hungry for more talent and it’s good to know it has found two performers in Meezaan and Sharmin.

  • One Day

Vigilante justice films have to have the right mix of mayhem and violence. They should persuade us that the wrong-doers deserve this kind of raw punishment. Director Ashok Nanda hasn’t been able to offer the right balance and as a result, the film fails to make the kind of impact it was aiming for...

  • Marudhar Express

The film had the potential to be a bitter-sweet comedy about relationships but in its present form, remains a classic case of opportunity gone waste.

  • Article 15

Watch the film for its riveting performances and its underlying message that even after 70 years as a free country, we’re still shackled to the chains of caste.
