  • Teri Meri Kahaani

The song situations are absurd, the writing is mediocre and funny when it's not supposed to be, there's hardly an original idea, and the performances are on auto-pilot...

  • Shuttlecock Boys

A film that seems essentially a filmmaking exercise manages a bonus release. You can salute the spirit and wish them the best for the future, but you can't help but come away from the film a little disappointed.

  • Mod

It should've stayed in the realm of a love story and resisted temptation to merge into thriller territory. Ultimately the film suffers for it.

  • Ra.One

It is a muesli-like muddle of every popular superhero movie you've seen. Contextualising (to Bollywood) rather than being original is what the makers are attempting here.

  • John Day

...claims to be an "edge of the seat thriller" on its poster. Considering the makers didn't set out to make one in the first place, one wonders how convinced they were about their own effort.

  • Cocktail

...writer Imtiaz Ali dilutes this vision and goes on to self-censor, Indianise, romanticise, emotionalise, ergo commercialise the experience and give us a 1 part alcohol and 10 part water cocktail, an exercise in pointlessness.
