  • Zero

Zero gets marks for Shah Rukh's experiment into a space less traveled.  If you're curious, go ahead, amuse yourelf.

  • Zanjeer

...this film should be judged as a stand-alone offering because attempts to compare the two versions will find the current one falling short, especially in the dialogue and music departments.

  • Why Cheat India

For a film that tackles education, the screenplay should have concentrated on plain speak. Instead, this one takes an incoherent approach.

  • Ugly

...what makes Ugly tick is the searing honesty with which it is told. It's not for the faint-hearted, but for those who are willing to let the morally decrepit live.

  • Tubelight

The film that propagates the values of family, faith and patriotism doesn’t manage to take a complete leap of faith because somewhere someone couldn't pull this one off convincingly. In fact, everything is so cloyingly sweet that you start feeling you’ve strolled into a sermon rather than a Salman movie.

  • Total Dhamaal

...the pace of the first half is terrific. Before the innumerable characters are introduced and the first stone of the plot is laid, it is the intermission. The second half is tiresome.

  • Toilet

So whether you have pressing matters to attend to or not, please take a detour to this toilet. Each of us needs to raise a stink about what our countrymen do in the open.

  • Thugs Of Hindostan

...it is a pity no one thought of writing a more novel story, especially when they had two superstars on board their ship. It is a pity that after spending so much  on VFX, gimmickry and virgin locales of Malta, no one thought it appropriate to fit the whole thing in with more emotion and entertainment.

  • Thackeray

Don’t miss Thackeray. It’s like a gym session that gives you a high. You can actually feel the adrenaline pumping, many a time during the film.

  • TE3N

The film's ability to maintain the suspense right till the end makes it a must-watch for those who like whodunnits. However, a better pace could have lifted this film a notch higher.

  • Stree

...the film is enjoyable because of the superlative acting from Rajkummar, Pankaj, Aparshakti and Abhishek all of who blend seamlessly into the screenplay credited to Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.

  • Sonchiriya

The writing by Chaubey and Sharma has as much bite as the bullets sprayed here. The attempts to tear into the soul of the dacoits and show them as real people with fears, faith and fervour, comes across effectively.

  • Simran

Frankly, you can't emotionally invest in Simran or root for her as much as you might want to. But when you watch the film, you will find yourself warming up to her occasionally, because she's all you've got. Let's give Kangana her due.

...is tried and tested 80s Bollywood formula.  But what the hell?  If redux songs can be a super hit, retelling formula, 1000-times-over can also be super fun.
