  • Sanju

Frankly you don’t need to be a fan or a friend or family member of Sanjay Dutt to invest emotionally in this film. Even if you have a vicarious bent of mind (which most of have) you will take away a lot from Sanju.

  • Simmba

...is tried and tested 80s Bollywood formula.  But what the hell?  If redux songs can be a super hit, retelling formula, 1000-times-over can also be super fun.

  • Raanjhanaa

In the first half, it is an interesting, intense, introspective love story, where you empathise with the characters. In the second half, the love story gets diluted to make way for gobbledygook political ideology that is an irritant.

  • Batti Gul Meter Chalu

Watch BGMC because it throws light on the issue of electricity, which is a fundamental human right. If we sit like frogs in a well, we may never learn what ails the real India. Jaago guys, jaago.

  • Chakravyuh

...is a hard film to make and marks must be given to Jha for sticking his neck out. Staying true to the subject, he gives us an insight into uncomfortable truths happening in our backyard.

Kashyap is still one of Hindi cinema’s better storytellers. His films definitely shake you from your reverie. So for those who don't wish to just sleepwalk through life, this Kashyap kand is a must.

The film's ability to maintain the suspense right till the end makes it a must-watch for those who like whodunnits. However, a better pace could have lifted this film a notch higher.

  • Simran

Frankly, you can't emotionally invest in Simran or root for her as much as you might want to. But when you watch the film, you will find yourself warming up to her occasionally, because she's all you've got. Let's give Kangana her due.

  • Mary Kom

...the main reason why Mary Kom appeals is because it doesn't just give you a ringside view of boxing; it leaves you rooting for our sportsmen who have put India on the world map.

  • Raid

Watch Raid because despite the corruption around us, we still believe we can win the war against black money hoarders. Also, watch it for Ajay Devgn’s intensity.

  • Gold

Akshay Kumar’s tally of ‘Gold’ medals just went up. Give Brand India and him a standing ovation.

  • Rangoon

In his attempt to pack in too much on war, love and deceit, the maker ends up with some haphazard division of war scenes versus love games, leaving the viewer muddled.

  • Kalank

Three words to sum it up would be – it’s beautifully chaotic. Anyway, some movies are best seen and less analysed.
