  • Thugs Of Hindostan

...it is a pity no one thought of writing a more novel story, especially when they had two superstars on board their ship. It is a pity that after spending so much  on VFX, gimmickry and virgin locales of Malta, no one thought it appropriate to fit the whole thing in with more emotion and entertainment.

  • Total Dhamaal

...the pace of the first half is terrific. Before the innumerable characters are introduced and the first stone of the plot is laid, it is the intermission. The second half is tiresome.

...Shankar’s story is pedestrian, plebeian and even plain puerile. But the visuals and sounds are compelling enough to keep you mesmerised at least for a bit.

  • Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana

...it’s a film that had potential to be a sweet love story. However, this one doesn’t quite get there because it’s not passionate enough on any count—be it in its social messaging--or be it in the romance.

  • India‘s Most Wanted

If you’re in the mood for a documentary-styled ‘real’ film, you may find something to take back from here. Having said that, in this case, the intention can be lauded, but definitely not the execution.

If you like romance on slow burn, Photograph might appeal to you. Otherwise, just leaf through your own albums.

  • Firangi

...this film is a wasted exercise in story-telling. It is an even more frustrating movie experience.

  • Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3

At least it had mystery and it was told honestly with some amount of panache. Be warned; the third installment in injurious to health. It lacks substance, style, spirit and spunk.

  • Genius

...the whole movie is treated like an 80s show reel, where star-fathers who were launching their sons had a template.

  • Race 3

...is not even boasting of being an intelligible film which has been made to clear the cobwebs in your mind. It is an ostentatious, over-the-top Salman Khan vehicle, made for his fans between the ages of 5 and 60 (like me!).

  • PM Narendra Modi

Since we are talking of India’s most powerful leader, naturally one expected the film to be a hagiography. And this is exactly what it is.

  • Karle Pyaar Karle

While the film has been lavishly mounted because it supports Bollywood's nepotism, practice of a producer (Suneel Darshan) making a show reel for his son ( Shiv Darshan), scant respect is paid to even trying to give you a halfway decent story with contemporary treatment.
