    ...remains watchable for two reasons: the storyline is interesting and the horror quotient is better than most horror films made in Bollywood.

    ...the film is emotionally dragging and is like an Ekta Kapoor soap. If you miss some portion of the film, you will not lose track, as the story just doesn't move ahead in the second half.

    Though the story is a pure mishmash right out of the potboiler films of the 70s, it's styled and spoken with today's hip attitude. Dabangg is chavanni chhap entertainment, easy to ridicule but toughest to create.
