    This movie starts going consistently downhill from the first scene itself that you start wondering if the makers and the actors themselves gave up on making any sense, even while they were in the process of making it.

    Given how extensively the film talks about the commercialisation of education, I think someone should take up the cause of commercialisation of inflammatory issues. While Jha has succeeded in garnering enough attention for Aarakshan as a result, he has failed to give this sensitive issue its due.

    What strikes one the most about A Decent Arrangement is its matter-of-fact tone and cool confidence with which the story is narrated — though the story in itself is nothing novel.

    ...alas, for most part, Varman, much like a good schoolboy, sticks to the novel, without really adding his own creative inputs. Bhagat’s book is no classic to demand that kind of reverence.
