  • Force 2

...is a great watch mainly because it stays true to its genre and provides ample adrenaline rush. John Abraham is in top form and the film has some of the best action sequences shot this year.

  • Gulaab Gang

It could have become a memorable film like Mirchi and Mrityudand but in trying to be commercial, the film loses it's flavour.

  • Ok Jaanu

Despite being set in 2017 with a contemporary look and feel, Ok Jaanu's idea of love feels dated. Brand placement in the middle of a romantic scene that's meant to evoke some emotion is a terrible idea!

  • Main Aur Charles

Prawaal Raman's direction is like the stitching of a tailor who has amazing fabric but isn't quite sure what dress he wants to make.

  • Gippi

There is something innocent and vulnerable about Gippi that touches a chord, but it is the unnecessary mix and match of clichéd moments and mundane dialogues that prevents the film from rising above the ordinary.

  • Gippi

Faruk Kabir handles the sensitive topic of juvenile delinquency with maturity and compassion. Strong performances and engaging moments make the film truly memorable.

  • Mickey Virus

Unfortunately the innovation of the plot wears out too soon. The writers seem to hit a sort of roadblock in the second half not knowing where to take the story.

  • Kochadaiiyaan

Conventional fans might find it a bit hard to worship their hero in this CGI avatar, but Kochadaiiyaan is a big bold step in opening new frontiers to film making, a step that deserves to be supported.

  • O Teri

Despite its flaws, O Teri manages to come off as a breezy entertainer that works in the space of its genre largely because of its two lead actors.

  • Zanjeer

...doesn’t hold a candle to the original, instead it feels like a modern day adaptation of a yet another cop drama.

  • Shab

The writing also lacks finesse in certain scenes and feels disjointed or incomplete. There is a cloud of a Madhur Bhandarkar film like Page 3 or Fashion that looms large over the second half of Shab.

  • Dear Dad

  • Daddy

...is one of the best films to come out this year with an applause worthy performance by Arjun Rampal, however, it fails to leave an impression on you with its weak narrative and sluggish pace.

  • Bhoothnath Returns

Enjoyable in parts, Bhootnath Returns has the right sentiment, but an over the top climax and cliched writing holds it back from being a charmer.

  • Ungli

The film has an interesting premise, but the second half and shoddy climax does Ungli to any chances of it leaving a lasting impression on us.

  • Lucknow Central
