  • Beyond The Clouds

...is certainly not a masterpiece of Majid Majidi. It is just another regular story of orphan siblings and their problematic lives. Avoid the pace and plot, the film is high on emotions.

  • Dil Juunglee

The first thing that came to my mind after watching Aleya Sen Sharma’s Dil Juunglee was to question the source of funding for a film that clearly had no clue which way to head, because there’s nothing worse than spending an early morning with a heartbreakingly bad movie.

  • Hate Story IV

is one of those films, which leaves you wondering what it was. The film is a stale cocktail of lust, betrayal, revenge and vengeance. Interestingly, no actor seems to be even trying to act. Hate Story IV  has a poor plot with a flawed execution.

...is a delightful treat to those who are fond of horror flicks. And stop complaining that Bollywood doesn't produce good horror films!

  • Welcome to New York

The only question popping up in your mind is, 'What is it?' Is it a film or a fancy documentary on IIFA Awards in New York. Enter the theatre at your own risk or at least carry a punching bag along with you if you are unfortunate to see it.

  • Padmaavat

...is sparkling, extravagant, dazzling, magnificent and wonderful. It’s a feast for the eyes. It leaves you craving for something more meaningful than a mere re-telling of Jayasi’s poem.

  • Padmaavat

The inconsequential 3D and an overly glossy crowd-wowing star spectacle make ‘Padmaavat’ look like pure product which manipulates the audience to love it. But the fact is, it lacks the real depth and hence the high of watching a good piece of cinema.

...is a cocky cocktail and a messy affair. If contemporary gritty tales are your cup of tea then this one is a delightful watch but don’t expect a twisted plot!

  • Mukkabaaz

Hardcore Anurag Kashyap fans may be a bit disappointed with its happy ending and moreover, less of blood bath unlike his films. Though Mukkabaaz is not as dark as his genre, the overall treatment is edgy and thrilling alongside the universal appeal.

  • Firangi

The film could have been crisper. First half is interesting, but the film loses out on its climax, which is unrealistic and funny. It is a royal mess of the highest order.

  • Kadvi Hawa

...tells us a heartfelt human story languorously, though to be fair, the lazily built atmosphere adds the appropriate solemnity to the narrative.

  • Ajji

...is bold in its decisions of what it shows and what it doesn’t. It’s sensitive and yet determined to make us see, imagine, join the dots.   It’s not interested in making us comfortable, help us tide over all that’s unpleasant, violent, vile.
