  • Bhavesh Joshi Superhero

The first half is successful in establishing the premise and a grand take off ( Udaan) is promised but alas, the farfetched approach, the loneliness of the super hero Bhavesh Joshi, his inability to go all out at the monsters of corruption turns this potential quirky dark and edgy superhero flick into more of a personal vendetta saga.

  • Bharat

...could have been a masterpiece if it was served with some reality but still this grand Eid bonanza starring superstar Salman Khan is an emotionally touching ode to a good human, true Indian, fatherhood, brotherhood, peace, harmony, good virtues, family and how all these when come together can make a great nation.

  • Beyond The Clouds

This heartfelt and sensitive adage on the triumph of good over evil ends on a beautiful note of hope with that closing shot that stamps, cements and underlines the magic of Majidi we know.

  • Besharam

Nothing works in the movie. Not even Ranbir is able to change the fortunes of this script that goes from bad to worse and then even worse.

  • Begum Jaan

A plot that could have been a powerful eye opening metaphor on 'mata' (read women) and 'bharat mata' turns into a disturbing, over blown, deliberately hysterical and forcefully sensational misadaptation of the brilliant National award winning Bengali film Rajkahini.

  • Befikre

..a.dds nothing innovative to Bollywood's rom-com genre in its plot and just fulfills the dharma (duty) of a rom-com to please its 25 and less aged target audience who are not that demanding as far as their cinema (read movie outing) is concerned.

  • Batti Gul Meter Chalu

There is an undercurrent of satire throughout as it begins with a comment on Vikas and Anand (growth and happiness). The movie is exceptionally performed by the main characters who power the cause of the film.

  • Batla House

...is a massy/crowd pleasing distillation of Operation Batla House that manages to share some facts on heroisms, valour, faith, religion and the politics behind.

  • Bank Chor

Its not that Bank Chor doesn't aim for a cinematic statement, it does, the maker has tried to make a comment on the cultural and other divides in this film but it's so juvenile that it hardly registers and ends up a mockery - a joke on itself.

  • Bangistan

Is Bangistan a comedy? I wish it was! I was hoping it was. I read it was. Did the director even realize that he shifted focus and was just meandering through in the first half? I hope so.

  • Bala

...is the best coming of age drama to come to Bollywood in recent years, having Ayushmann Khurrana giving his best, Yami Gautam at her charming best and a class apart Bhumi Pednekar...
