  • Rakht Charitra – I

Ram Gopal Varma's storytelling has a Company and Sarkar hangover. Plus the films gets entangled in a repetitive cycle of revenge and counter-revenge, so the story doesn’t move anywhere.

  • MLA

More shaded and real characters would have taken the film notches higher. However, it's a decent attempt by debut director Shiv Dube.

  • Fatso

...a film that had potential. But somewhere along the way, we just couldn’t understand what to make of the man in the fat suit and his pack of strange friends.

  • Khiladi 786

...here was great potential here - the successful Khiladi franchise, the A-list cast, good music and so on. But debut director Ashish R Mohan makes a film that's a diluted, washed-down version of several such films.

  • Housefull

It’s just like so many of its kind – banking on skin-show, star-power and a couple of tired gags; it’s frightening to say that this is the only endurable option available to the Hindi film viewer currently.

  • Jai Ho

The film appears to be a massive PR fillip for Salman—working on his image of a do-gooder with a volatile temper. The film and his image feed off each other. There's also some token nationalism forced in for good measure. You'll get a lot of Salman Khan here, but an entertaining movie, you will not.

  • One By Two

Writer-director Devika Bhagat makes a film that's like an elongated sitcom. The film manages to stand initially, but goes quite berserk towards the finale, much like our characters.
