  • Judgemental Hai Kya

So apart from the occasionally engaging antics of Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, the film ends up with little educative or entertainment value. This movie has a good cast, but ultimately disappoints.

  • Total Dhamaal

...the movie plays to the gallery by placing each set of characters in preposterous and farcical gags. The sheer ludicrousness of the set-ups - involving air, land and water transport - gets a few laughs.

  • Ittefaq

In truth, it is not much of a murder mystery, since you can predict the end by estimating the running time of the movie. When conclusive evidence is found to nail one of the suspects, and it seems to be all over bar the conviction, there is still 15 minutes to go.

  • B.A. Pass

So despite a fairly compact 95 minutes, the movie has a sense of incompleteness, with the inner life of the most interesting character ignored.

  • Andhadhun

...a thriller with not a single scary moment. ‘Andhadhun’ is wonderfully mounted, nicely cast and beautifully art directed, but not once do you grip your seat, sit back in horror, or cover your eyes.

  • Banjo

...is a sincere and well intentioned film that has some watchable sequences, but fails eventually, as the sum of its parts just don't add up.

  • Kaalakaandi

The film is funny in specific contexts, but, overall, the interlinked stories pass no real comment on the quality of life in this heterogenous metropolis. The movie drifts along nicely, until you get a little tired, and wish that it all leads to a quick and rousing conclusion.

  • De De Pyaar De

...does have a few funny moments, but its lens is locked at the fixed perspective of the entertainment that can be milked from the classic older man syndrome. In truth it is a movie without a modicum of the intelligence and sensitivity required to treat the subject seriously, and so, maybe, it is a good thing that it didn’t.
