  • Luv Ka The End

Chances are girls between the ages of 12 and 18 will love this superficial kind of girl power. Some more will enjoy the 'timepass' idiocy and male-bashing;, and if both kinds are accompanied by their boyfriends, chances are the film will do well.

  • Murder 2

The Bhatts may very well have hit on their hands—people still remember Murder—but they have stooped really low this time, and the censors have to do their jobs better if they are to justify their existence.

  • Daddy

The problem with making yet another gangster film is that somebody has done it before and, in all probability, done a better job.

  • 7 Khoon Maaf

Deshpande's narration is meandering and perhaps deliberately random, without any discernible beginning, middle or end-a life-goes-on cycle... just touched by stardust.

  • Chaalis Chauraasi

Hriday Shetty has made a very ordinary caper comedy, and the best thing to be said about it is that it has as many irritants, as it has twists. And the non-linear format lends it some sparks of suspense.

Except for afew well-written 'speeches' the film lacks any real drama or even a stable core that can convey with any degree of conviction what exactly the director wants to say. It fires in all directions like a malfunctioning gun and never hits the target.

  • Kapoor & Sons

Shakun Batra’s film has no plot, just the problems of getting a family together so that grandpa can get a family photo for his 90th birthday.

  • Kapoor & Sons

...no matter how 'original' the film may be, it still has a seen-it-somewhere look and feel-hundreds of Hollywood films and dozens of Karan Johar kind of films. Everything so, so deja vu!

  • Break Ke Baad

Danish Aslam can populate the film with quirky characters, have characters mouth self-help-book profundities, but it just never manages to be funny, and never reaches the level of melancholy it tries to drum up in its two shallow characters.

  • Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu

Can't say EMAET disappoints; in fact it comes up to the generally low expectations of  a romcom. It is just meant for keeping your eyes on the screen for the running time, and then leave behind with the empty popcorn tub.

  • Madaari

It may do well commercially, but it will remain a wishy washy and yes, exploitative film, redeemed entirely by Vidya Balan's bravura performance...
