  • Bang Bang!

Expectations met. Action-packed, lots of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, passable stunt and close to no story.

  • Guddu Rangeela

A thick plot that throws in surprises but ends the usual way – blah. An overwhelming sense of wanting to send a social message, even if understandable, doesn't help the cause.

...has decent animation by Indian standards which equate to very average ones by international ones, notwithstanding the differences in budgets. Also, the great epic has been tinkered around with to no advantage.

  • Jabariya Jodi

...is not as much a romantic comedy as it is the story of a boy trying to come out of his father’s unsavoury shadow. But the need for a rom-com climax ruins whatever little it had tried to gain in the first two hours.

  • Shor In The City

...is well-shot and has good performances. It also has a few well-developed, interesting characters. Yet, the plot gives a very "been there, seen that" feel.

  • Mr. X

At the end, I was a little surprised and a little disappointed. Given the dilemma and the conclusion thereof, the concept deserved better screenplay and writing.

  • Aazaan

...a well-stylized action thriller. However, its punctuated by tiring romance. What could've been a gripping drama, stretches too long and outstays its welcome by just that bit.

Confused lovers in films bore me. I can’t empathise with them any longer. Despite that, the performances took me through, they are that good.

  • Tanhaji

Overt dramatisation, powerful delivery of over-written dialogue, considerably awful CGI. Yet a moderately engaging film, partly because of the story of bravery and partly because of decent performances.

  • Utt Pataang

...a 100-minute film with a reasonably interesting story, a fantastic flow in the screenplay, and decent performances seems slow and boring...

  • Jhootha Hi Sahi

...initial set-up is hilarious and mucho fun. But, set that aside and almost everything is superficial, improbable, and many-a-time outright stupid.

  • Bittoo Boss

...has a couple insights about society and its outlook towards porn and sex. But it puts these points across in a dull, jerky manner and often without energy. Not discardable, neither enjoyable.

  • David

David is a slick and classy struggle between right and wrong. If only all three stories had enough meat to make for a 2+ hour film. Only 1.5 of the 3 do.

  • Naam Shabana

Good news: There is a woman beating up bad man after bad man to save the world. Bad news: That is not qualification enough to make a film good.

  • Ittefaq

Hurried in its story-telling and a little too relaxed in its execution, Ittefaq makes the biggest mistake a thriller could make - it tells a gripping story instead of showing it.

  • Fanney Khan

A bit too convoluted even if you could try to sympathise with the length that a common man has to go to, to fulfill his dreams.

  • Raavan

It's so confusing when seriousness is dealt with song and dance. Wish the film was advertised as modern Ram Leela performed in a tribal theater. That expectation would have prepped me to deal with the over-dramatization a lot better.

  • Rang Rasiya

A misunderstood, controversial painter could've made for a more engaging film. But this ain't a bad start for bold topics at all.

  • Aligarh

It is an important film. It is a courageous film even. The film does some things really well. But, it isn't necessarily an absorbing one.
