  • Dil Juunglee

A sincerely superficial film. Makes no attempt at making character motivations believable. A case of “believe it or leave it”. “Leave it”, it is then.

  • Shaandaar

...is the Anees Bazmee-fication of Dharma-ised version of the Phantom-isation of Vikas Bahl's Disney tale. Oh dear, how do I fit Barjatya in that sentence now?

  • Chase

Run away. And run away fast. You don’t want to watch a bunch of non-actors in a shabbily edited thriller, even if the story is not-bad.

  • Shootout At Wadala

...seems to be the kind of film that will be enjoyed by people who like this mix of moderately gory action, toilet humor and aggressive romance.

  • Zanjeer

...I refuse to believe that the makers of this remake of Zanjeer didn't know they were taking away from an already not-so-great film.

  • Lahore

Same old need for sisterhood between two countries which have been at war for what, 6 decades now? Of course, we need truce but not sure if we need a movie on the issue with the backdrop of a sport that seems to mean more war than anything else.

  • Baar Baar Dekho

A long-winded way of saying something quite simple, really. The buildup and guesswork all seem like they want to lead you up to something very profound, but nada.

  • Romeo Akbar Walter

A thriller that doesn’t get you anywhere close to the edge of the seat. Maybe because the hero gets stuff done too easily or perhaps the casting doesn’t allow you to think he could lose. This despite a decent attempt at twists.

  • Desi Boyz

...is exactly what you'd expect. Awful acting by good-looking people who look really good. A 'whatever' story with a few good hearty laughs.

  • Department

Vague characters can be interesting but the experimentation with the camera is too distracting for anything else to be processed satisfactorily.

  • Rush

...a crime drama that you've to struggle to keep awake through mainly because of a sluggish first half.

  • Force 2

As inane as an action film can get. It's fight to have a relevant story is futile because it is nothing more than the usual sequences of chase sequences.

  • Crook

When one proudly believes in the goodness of being bad, there's little left to say. The win-win situation - They were good both when the film started well and also when it ended ridiculously bad

  • Dum Maaro Dum

...makes a crime thriller as disinteresting as it could be. The lines are limp and the situations are far from creative. The plot is strung together with a series of events that have no flow.

  • Gali Gali Chor Hai

A loud and tacky story with more distractions than the story itself makes a decent idea, with a common man behaving like a common man, ineffective.

  • Kurbaan

Predictable to the minutest detail and utterly-butterly s..l..o..w. You sure have better ways to induce yawns now, don't you?

  • Bullett Raja

Lots of "dialogue", earthy style and of course bullets. Unfortunately, it also means repetitive, predictable, and tiring.
