Chase
Critic reviews and ratings
-
...a thriller which goes low on the thrill quotient. So much so, it tends to lose you midway, majorly due to its thin storyline, its lacklustre lead act and its thin editing.
-
Run away. And run away fast. You don’t want to watch a bunch of non-actors in a shabbily edited thriller, even if the story is not-bad.
-
...poorly written and directed. Definitely not worth the chase.
-
...never quite overcomes the cheesy impulse, moving from one absurd episode to another, not quite the pacy thriller that one would think the introductory chase would lead us into.
-
The film is predictable and nothing really excites you.
-
...lacks face-value as well as merits.
-
...once you are about five minutes into the film all you want to do is think fast and run faster. Right out of the preview hall.

Last week, Jag Mundhra unleashed 'The Apartment' upon us. Barely had we recovered, he's back with 'Chase’.
-
Jagmohan Mundhra has taken it to a new low with Chase.
-
Though 'Chase' is hardly the kind of film that would make you rush towards theaters and make beelines for it, you can still sit through those two hours if forced to.
-
The refrain in the title track – “Get, set, go…” – might well be a cautionary injunction to the unwitting viewer settling into his seat.
-
What I don't understand is why he expects people to pay good money to watch him play action star when they can as easily just play their PSPs?
