  • Jo Hum Chahein

An obnoxious, self-centered boy comes of age. And he cannot act. Neither can the women or men who help him come of age in their ways. And the women are a few of the most gullible ones I've seen in ages, even on screen!

  • Lanka

A lackluster narrative, despite the over-dramatization, which Manoj Bajpayee somehow tries to hold together with his performance.

  • Ladies VS Ricky Bahl

...does attempt at portraying various shades of a women without stereotyping or caricaturing them. Yet, though the film is interesting it is not entertaining enough.

  • The Dirty Picture

It's dirty and you'll love it. For its wit even if might seem a little over-written. For its nerve even if the after-taste is that of an under-cooked story. For Vidya Balan because she is entertainment!

  • Dam 999

...irritates mainly because you are forced to watch it in 3D when there is no reason to. Other irritants like disjointed screenplay, an unengaging narrative, distracting accents seem secondary in comparison.

  • Desi Boyz

...is exactly what you'd expect. Awful acting by good-looking people who look really good. A 'whatever' story with a few good hearty laughs.

  • Miley Naa Miley Hum

Miley Naa Miley Hum ends up being a bland family drama about parents burdening their children with aspirations they have for themselves. It could have been so much better. Oh well...

  • Loot

Loot is confused between being a regular, loud slapstick and being one of those several threads converge to make a "cool" pulp kind-of a film.

  • Tell Me O Kkhuda

A bland narrative of a girl on the look for her biological parents. And as the film progresses the story keeps getting more and more ridiculous.

  • Ra.One

...has some really "Whoa! Cool" action sequences. Yeah, yeah even if you are exposed to "Hollywood" action. Now if only, the story had a nail-biting edge to it...

  • Mod

...a strong, serious story told with sensitivity and conviction. Welcome back, Mr. Kukunoor.

  • Aazaan

...a well-stylized action thriller. However, its punctuated by tiring romance. What could've been a gripping drama, stretches too long and outstays its welcome by just that bit.

  • Soundtrack

...starts unsurely, mildly irritates while casually displaying a wasted life amidst drugs, alcohol and sex and then grips you into a story that makes you want good things to happen to a person you didn't like much or worse, were indifferent to.

  • Rascals

For a slapstick that is supposed to keep you in splits, Rascals has a very few gags that would have worked better if they were told in a calmer tone, with better timing and werent dragged endlessly.

  • Hum Tum Shabana

All the adjectives, all the phrases, all the cliches of the not-so-kind kind that apply to a mindless comedy, apply to Hum Tum Shabana.

  • Force

...a perfect masala film, which also means, it is perfectly predictable. And yet, Force keeps you engaged.

  • Tere Mere Phere

If the film had talent that didn't have limitations, if the writing had been crisper, if the editing had been even crisper, maybe we could have judged the debutant director.

  • Mausam

...is beautifully shot, no doubt about that, but a regular love story takes forever to finish, and then there's some more left.

  • That Girl in Yellow Boots

The gritty nature of the film and the subject is not something all of us can handle for it takes guts to accept the truth about the society that we are a part of. It's an important film but not one I'd want to watch again.

  • Bol

The heart doesn't reach out to any of Bol's characters. It is slow and gets repetitive and preachy about serious topics like mistreatment of the girl-child and sexual orientation. The treatment doesn't let you get too involved.

  • Bodyguard

For once, a film made me wish it didn't have a story and was the usual Salman Khan "cool". That, at least I'm prepared for. The attempt at putting in a sorry, convoluted twists just kill whatever other fun you could have had.

  • Shabri

Even if you are looking forward to a story about a woman gangster, I'd say this isn't something worth getting too excited about.
