  • Bol Bachchan

It's chaos as usual in Rohit Shetty-land. Save a few funnies, it is typical nonsense one would expect in a film from this genre.

  • Bol

The heart doesn't reach out to any of Bol's characters. It is slow and gets repetitive and preachy about serious topics like mistreatment of the girl-child and sexual orientation. The treatment doesn't let you get too involved.

  • Bodyguard

For once, a film made me wish it didn't have a story and was the usual Salman Khan "cool". That, at least I'm prepared for. The attempt at putting in a sorry, convoluted twists just kill whatever other fun you could have had.

  • Blood Money

A strong middle hour sandwiched between twenty minutes of silliness at the beginning and an absurd last half hour, make Blood Money hanging between engaging and ridiculous.

  • Bittoo Boss

...has a couple insights about society and its outlook towards porn and sex. But it puts these points across in a dull, jerky manner and often without energy. Not discardable, neither enjoyable.

  • Bhoot Returns

With next to nothing happening in the first 70 minutes and a disgustingly horrifying last 20 minutes, Bhoot Returns pretty much yells dont watch me.

  • Beyond The Clouds

...is as harsh as it is kind and in that sense it follows life. If only the Iranian director had avoided drama especially through some of the performances and the background score. These took a toll on the subtlety that could have been.

  • Bewakoofiyaan

Despite desperate attempts to be different, Bewakoofiyaan is only as interesting as the ups and downs of any relationship in trouble.

  • Besharam

Yet another of those insipid, loud, occasionally-crass films that go under the garb of masala entertainment.

  • Behen Hogi Teri

The only thing different about this “parents vs. lovers” love story is represented in the title. The title itself is one big eyeroll. So that's that.

  • Begum Jaan

Asks pertinent questions subtly, but everything about it seems like it is for “effect”. None of it germane to a story.

  • Befikre

The biggest put-off is that grown-ups behave like juveniles when in love. They behave as if they've never heard of age-old problems like toilet seats and wet towels. Makes you wonder if the writers have experienced real life, real relationships – those outside the movie world.

  • Bbuddah...Hoga Terra Baap

...brazenly declares that this is a tribute to the legend and his prime years. Once you have done that, they could have gotten away with anything. They didn't necessarily need a story or characterization. But they give you that and Amitabh Bachchan unlimited.

  • Batti Gul Meter Chalu

In a crisper avatar, Batti Gul Meter Chalu might just have made for one cohesive film. The one I watched though was two films stuck together – one filled with the angst of unrequited love and the other filled with angst against the sham called “progess”.

  • Batla House

Accomplished police officers have to defend themselves against allegations of fake encounters–the topic as a central theme for a film is relatively fresh. However, the story doesn’t budge ahead until the last 20 minutes and thus is sadly a tiring bore.

  • Bareilly Ki Barfi

Neither does it have the sparks of a romance, nor the laughs of a comedy. What it does have is some fine performances, lovely details and nuances that are not usually found in Hindi films.

  • Banjo

Watchable for the energy that visuals can add to the upbeat, festive music. Else, very passable.

  • Bangistan

Okay, okay, we get it. It is satire. The satire is witty too. But then, what? Nothing beyond the concept really. Also, does satire always have to be preachy?

  • Bang Bang!

Expectations met. Action-packed, lots of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, passable stunt and close to no story.
