    ...largely follows the idiom which Abbas Tyrewala enunciated in his debut venture, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, reiterating his use of youthful lingo (strange becomes ajeebs here), wisecrack humour and 'cool gang' bonding, with a celebration -- and a spoof -- of the traditional Bollywood 'andaaz' (style) of essaying romance.

    ...the film unfolds as one long play rehearsal and doesn't seem to move forward after a point. The relationship between the big city boy and the small town girl is confined to an exchange of smiles and smiles and some more smiles: too many cold exchanges between the two debutants.

    It's literally slapstick humour, with a lot of slaps flying around between simians and humans, humans and humans. Nevertheless, it makes you laugh, provided you don't go looking for artistry and intelligence.

    The problem with F.A.L.T.U lies in its tone. It doesn't know whether to unfold as a full blown comedy or take itself seriously by providing some gyan on the education system.
