I Am Singh
Critic reviews and ratings

Meant as a ready reckoner on Sikhism, the film should have had a larger appeal. Unfortunately it will find its target audience, mostly in its own community.
-
...the movie is sound but it's a waste of resources to pump in money on a subject that has already been beaten to pulp.
-
...tests your patience. With an overused plot and absolutely zilch efforts on execution, it's best avoided.
-
...is an overcooked dish. Best avoided.
-
...is too weak a fare to leave any impact whatsoever.
-
This could have been a perfectly acceptable film, presumably meant to release around the tenth anniversary of 9/11. In Puneet Issar's hands, it becomes a series of unintentionally hilarious scenes.
-
A waste of time.
-
The film's audience, apparently Americans, as you know, think Osama bin Laden was Sikh. They need serious education. The characters knock some sense into their heads, read out page after page from Wikipedia, in Hindi and English, on philosophy, history, teachings and scriptures of Sikhism.
-
This would only work as a primary school Annual Day play, ideally staged for a geriatric audience.
-
I don't know how a film like this makes it to the theatres, without the exercise of any quality control.
-
...an incredibly amateurish piece of filmmaking with absolutely no redeeming facet.
