  • Zokkomon

...a lackluster script and an overdose of cliched situations turn this film into one more 'preachy affair'.

...has its fun moments and a few laughs. With a lighter treatment it may have been a real rib-tickler.

  • Aakrosh

It's dark, it's violent, it's informative and it's packed with a load of shock value which keeps you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.

  • Do Dooni Chaar

The film is a must see for all those who enjoy dramas about middle-class morality. And of course Rishi Kapoor fans who are spread across generations. The rest may give this a miss...

  • We Are Family

...falls into the same genre of films such as Ta Ra Rum Pum or Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic which are purportedly about kids but it's the same melodramatic mush being dished out in a new wrapper.

  • Bumm Bumm Bole

...is an 'official' adaptation of the award winning Iranian film Children of Heaven. With the screenplay firmly in place and a master director such as Priyadarshan at the helm, one would not be wrong to expect a sweet kiddie film which both entertains and enthralls. Unfortunately that doesn't happen.

  • Bal Hanuman 2

Despite obvious snags, Hanuman is an endearing character and kids will love him. It's a must watch particularly for those who've survived on a diet of Superman and Spiderman so far.

  • City Of Gold

Do watch this film if you enjoy slice-of-life films. But if candy floss cinema is your cup of tea, then it's best you keep away.

  • Paathshaala

Everything about the film is one-dimensional. The school itself is a set and looks like a cardboard cut-out. The characters are all good or all bad; there are no shades of grey.

  • Prince

All in all, this film is best avoided. Even Vivek Oberoi's ardent fans must give it a miss. They may no longer be his fans at the end of three hours.

  • Pankh

..is really not a film for the feeble. The director sets out to shock, scandalise, repulse and disgust you. If you are prepared for this then take a chance.

  • Mittal v/s Mittal

There have been many films made on rape and sexual violence. Most of them hope that depiction of violence will help to titillate the audience. Mittal Vs Mittal also sets out with this objective but the audience is more likely to get repulsed than titillated.

  • Teen Patti

The script doesn't evolve, it just jumps jerkily from one level to another so that the director can take her story to a predictable end.

  • Dulha Mil Gaya

Mudassar in text-book fashion introduces his characters in the first 30 minutes and then for the next two hours, the film keeps plodding its way towards a dreary, predictable end.
