  • Indu Sarkar

While the film was publicised as a film “on Emergency”, it actually oscillates between a political drama and a typical Bollywood film about a couple. Unfortunately, the transition between the two narratives is neither smooth nor convincing.

  • Bas Ek Tamanna

...could be praised for its progressive script. The integrity and community feeling of Lucknow is captured well but the director could have avoided the futile debate about polygamy.

  • Rangoon

Within minutes of the movie’s beginning, you realise the promise of a heart-wrenching period drama was a farce -- a set-up to promote a self-indulgent film that doesn’t know what it wants to be.

  • Soorma

...doesn’t attempt to probe beyond the obvious, even if you don’t know the real story. With 131-minute duration, Soorma presents Sandeep as the ultimate boy scout. A tinge of reality wouldn’t have hurt.

  • Baadshaho

...has too many ordinarily written characters jostling for whistle-worthy one-liners for 136-minutes. Eventually they run short of the steam and Baadshaho becomes a rehashed ‘90s story with some gloss and a lot of disappointment.

  • Bumboo

...a film made with good intentions but somehow the makers couldn't transform the original idea onto the celluloid.

  • Chhodo Kal Ki Baatein

...doesn't boast of stars but Pramod Joshi cares to use the medium of cinema for a good cause. The subject is complex but it has the potential to make you think.

  • Shakal Pe Mat Ja

...a mixture of crass comic sequences where the audience should not look for any sensible content. Watch it if you are a habitual film viewer and would not mind laughing in bits.

  • Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

...Elephants, camels, palaces, exotic dishes and soft background score can’t make you happy. You need a family in order to be happy. So true, but isn’t it a bit stretched statement to make through a 174-minute film?

  • Krishna Aur Kans

With good production values, ‘Krishna Aur Kans’ is childish but enjoyable, but you really need to avoid the lack of excellence in animation.

  • Policegiri

The dialogue writers put their heart and soul in coming up with catchy one-liners and they evoke laughter occasionally but KS Ravikumar's inexperience in handling the Hindi film audience obstructs their efforts.

  • Bang Bang!

There can be only two thought processes as far as the director Siddharth Anand is concerned. Either he believes that huge promotional drive will sell his half-baked product or the audience is actually full of people who believe Knight And Day is a good film.

  • Hero

Then who's the real hero of this 131-minute film? Salman Khan. Why? Haven't you heard his soulful number 'main hoon hero' yet?
