  • Ishaqzaade

Writer-Director Habib Faisal succeeds to a great extent in crafting an unpredictable first half full of spunk and spirit, but plays it boringly safe in the second, offering no new solutions or fresh perspectives in a story that has been done to death.

  • Hunterrr

In its current form, this Hunterrr is more horny than trigger-happy. He just walks around with a gun and rarely fires — except once in the whole film.

  • Humshakals

Trying to review or analyse this Sajid Khan film is like sending a child-crafted-claymated monkey for a brain scan and hoping to find proof of brain activity.

  • Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania

What’s commendable here is that Khaitan knows he is dealing with a film we all love and makes up for the borrowing by adding a lot of witty touches and subtly changing everything that doesn’t work today.

...despite all the painstaking effort that’s gone into recreating an era, is devoid of anything even remotely exciting and given the material and the premise, this is a criminal waste of an idea.

  • Happy New Year

...could steal your heart if you don’t use your head. When you wake up the next morning, you probably won’t remember much. Except that you laughed out loud a few times for some strange reason.

  • Haider

Get your minds blown. Forget your phone, forget your watch. Brush up on your Shakespeare or at least Wiki it. And you will find Haider to be a truly rewarding cinematic experience.

  • Gunday

If only the director had the guts to channel all the sexual tension into a Brokeback Mountain-esque love story instead of this faux bromance. Unfortunately, the characters are completely in denial of this chemistry and stick to the unwritten rules of the System.

  • Go Goa Gone

Neither here or there. It’s not art house. But it’s not entirely mainstream either. It’s not a satisfying zombie film. It’s not a full on comedy either.

  • Gangs Of Wasseypur 2

You might wish it had a deeper emotional core or some meaning but Kashyap just wants to leave his fingerprints over every frame without judging who’s right and who’s wrong.

  • Gangs Of Wasseypur

All that coolth and pop realism may do well with the die hard Kashyap cult but for the rest of us who paid to watch a bloody saga of revenge, it seems like a long wait at the circus.

...may not be laugh-out-loud funny as Delhi Belly, but the charming subtleties, detail to character and credibility of milieu makes it one hell of a ride.

  • Department

It's high time the filmmaker struggling with form realised that this nauseatingly gimmicky camerawork he has been afflicted with in his last few films distracts from the story.

  • Dedh Ishqiya

...is that rare kind of film that borrows from the Westerns, as much as it does from Indian cinema and even Urdu literature. It’s a curious mix — the best of the West and the East, the old and the new, the classy and the cheap — done seamlessly and effortlessly.

  • Dabangg 2

If Abhinav Kashyap tried his best to keep things realistic before going all out loud and turning it into a spoof of a Rajni film, Arbaaz Khan, the director of Dabanng 2 has no pretensions of objectivity or sanity.
