Dirty Politics
Critic reviews and ratings
-
There is no drama or suspense in the film. The only mystery that remains is why actors like Puri, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher agreed to be a part of such muck.
-
I feel sorry for the crew that works hard on these goodwill efforts, for they're at the mercy of unprogressive creative minds.
-
...very bit of this film — story, structure, sensibility, stunts and moral — is from an eighties film.
-
A very poorly executed film which makes you feel sorry for the body-politic of the nation.
-
...if you are the 'trashy movie' fan, you just hit a gold mine.
-
...a messy affair that reeks of all-round mediocrity despite the presence in the cast of actors of the calibre of Om Puri and Naseeruddin Shah.
-
...a highly avoidable fare.
-
There was a time Ms Sherawat showed she had the potential to move past bimbette-dom. ‘Dirty Politics’, however, is not the film where she fulfills it.
-
...represents the same online trolls it resembles -- a potential threat given its ability to misguide the masses with its half-baked ideas and smug ignorance.
-
The industry or the government has to seriously consider having a 'screening body' to figure out whether the movies that are passed on to the Censor Board can be termed as a 'movie'.
