  • Raajneeti

Prakash Jha is a deft juggler. He has so many balls up in the air all at once and he maneuvers them all with enviable skill and dexterity. This is a film designed to impress. And it does so successfully for most parts. Raajneeti is a war cry you can't ignore.

  • Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga

...full marks to debutante director Shelly Chopra Dhar for making a heartfelt film about a topic that needs to be brought out in the open. Let’s hope the film gets people talking about it, especially in our small towns and villages, where closed mindsets still prevail.

  • Super 30

The film belongs to Hrithik Roshan. He makes you forget the bad make-up and varying accent through his sheer involvement in the role. He underplays the anger, the pain, as well as the joy,  felt by his character and makes us believe in Anand Kumar.

  • Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi

The film has a cracking first half which just zooms by. The second half lags a bit but only because the director is trying to tie all the strands together. But overall, the impact doesn't waver and that's what counts in the long run...

  • Bala

Ayushmann has gotten under the skin of his complex character with aplomb. The angst, the insecurity felt by him is almost palpable. Cause-based films do bring out the best in him and the question is how long his romance with such subjects would continue...
