  • Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain

The other message it delivers is that love shouldn’t die post marriage. It’s a problem that’s seldom addressed to in real life and lesser in reel and it’s brave of director Vyas to revolve his film around it…

...it's one of the most fiercely patriotic films you'll ever see. That a female star holds centre stage makes for a welcome change. Alia Bhatt’s histrionics alone are worth the price of the ticket.

  • Omerta

Watching the film is like reading a newspaper report on the terrorist. It gives you a huge lot of facts but doesn't provide you with the complete picture.

  • 102 Not Out

Both Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor are on equal footing in the film.  Apart from showcasing genuine chemistry in their scenes together, each gets a chance to bring to light individual brilliance.

  • Daas Dev

Watch the film if you want to see a different version of Devdas, as also for the sly digs that Sudhir Mishra takes at dynastic politics.

  • Baaghi 2

The film is a must watch for action junkies. Tiger is a true-blue action star alright and those craving for some high octane thrills won't come away disappointed.

...the dramatic scenes between Ajay Devgn and Saurabh Shukla alone are worth the price of the ticket. Watch the film if you like manly heroes quitely going about their jobs and villains who can be gentlemen at times.

...asks the big question – are human beings in fact the biggest monsters? I say the biggest horror is a lame script.

A more dramatic story and tauter screenplay would have turned it into a true blue horror film. But in the present form, the only feeling it evokes is of sadness brought out by the fact that a brilliant opportunity got lost.

  • Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

...is more a series of comedy skits stuck loosely together than an actual film with a coherent plot and screenplay. It's a fresh idea alright and better execution would have turned it into an eminently enjoyable film.

  • Aiyaary

His was a story which needed further exploration but Pandey seems to have lost steam midway, abondoning it to its fate like an overburdened midwife.

  • Kuldip Patwal

This film had a lot of potential. It had the spunk that we've seen before in Subhash Kapoor's Jolly LLB movies. But all of that promise is laid to waste with uninspiring execution.

  • Mukkabaaz

...is not your average sports film or love story. This one’s a funny, intense, dramatic and thrilling ride. It makes you laugh, cry and nervous in equal measure. It’s a great way to start the year.

  • Fukrey Returns

...is a sequel that wants to be bigger, better and funnier than the original. In all fairness, it does manage to fulfil its ambitions on two accounts. It is bigger, it is funnier but it's certainly not better.

  • Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana

...talks about the dowry system, the inequality towards women in civil services and general working opportunities etc, it really feels like a mature and relevant story. But the treatment is so lackluster that it relegates the movie to Indian soap opera status. It’s a definite letdown.

  • Tu Hai Mera Sunday

It has novel ideas, but Tu Hai Mera Sunday’s intentions deserved a better execution. Director Milind Dhaimade isn’t able to get the required finesse in telling this tale.
