Desi Boyz
You figure this formula for the moolah could be a post-2000 film by David Dhawan. It turns out his son's the director. Generations change. So do audiences. Same garbage gets recycled still.

Dear Zindagi
...is a bumpy ride but, all things considered, it’s still one worth taking — especially for the sheer pleasure of watching Alia soar.

Dear Zindagi
If only Gauri brought better-etched characters and delved more into the emotional turmoils of her lead, this could have been a wonderful “slice-of-life” film with several messages to be lauded for. What she ends up with is a “could-have-been-amazing” film..

Dear Dad
It takes a whole lot of guts to make a film on alternate sexuality in India, specially when you are a first-time director. Tanuj Bhramar has pushed the envelope out of the closet as far as possible. And then some more.

De De Pyaar De
There is genuine fodder for situational comedy, but debutant director Akiv Ali can’t strike the balance between clever humour and broad farce, making something that wants to be intelligent but looks (and sounds) like a Priyadarshan slapstick climax.

De Dana Dan
Little will make sense, or is meant to. There is simply no recess from this excess.

Damadamm
This film actually has a darn good script, if you could excuse the hero for a bit. Just a bit. But how can you?

Dam 999
The visuals, hardly scary, or real, appear for a minute or two max. We continue to be treated to some third-rate plot around an unrequited, horoscope unfriendly romance: "River of love flowing into the sea of separation..." Right.

Daddy
With a sloppy storyline and over-dramatic dialogues, there is nothing fresh to watch in Daddy except for Arjun Rampal’s performance...

Dabangg 3
It’s quite impressive to be honest, achieving this level of pomp and show with such little substance for inspiration.

Dabangg
It'd be a shame to watch this anywhere outside of an old, decrepit single screen theatre, in the spirit of the loud tribal tradition that Hindi movies have always been: severely light on both the brains and the wallet. Mad stuff! Really.

Daawat-e-Ishq
...is the equivalent of an elaborate meal that begins with a mouth-watering appetiser but slowly loses flavour, aroma and deliciousness, so that by the time you reach dessert, you are exhausted, disappointed and badly in need of fresh air.

Daas Dev
...this is too much ambition for any film and Daas Dev veers between a love story, a political saga, a thriller and a Shakespearean power game. It flirts with all of those different genres but never pledges its troth to any.

Crook
This is an "issue-based" film that closely analyses racist attacks against young nihatthe (helpless) Indians in Australia!

CRD
The beauty of the film lies in its absurdity, audacity and cheekiness - you get to hear and see things that you don’t expect from a typical Hindi film.

Court
The best thing about Court is that all the characters have given believable performances, which lends to the authenticity and realism of the narrative.

Coolie No.1
With the sharp writing and editing missing, Coolie No 1 is but a poor facsimile of the original. As the jokes land with a thud, we are left just with the songs and even there, the OGs clearly win.

Commando 3
With the story and the message that the director intended to convey, it could have been easily wrapped up in a crisp hour and a half, but brevity doesn’t seem to be the strong point here. Only time when you feel adrenaline rush is when bones break and the background score amps up.

Coffee With D
A caricatured D and his antics, coupled with bad sound designing, make Coffee With D end nowhere close to a fun film it could have been.

Coffee Bloom
The film has a sense of warmth that ensures the audience would not want to ditch it half-way. However, the pace is a little slow
