  • No Problem

Actors alone suposedly carry audiences into theatres. A good number of them have been suitably recruited. The proposal is well drawn. Promise of crores have already been made. Why bother making a movie as well, telling a funny story? Anything will do.

  • Miley Naa Miley Hum

“Chirag baba” is the oddly uncomfortable, untrained performer, casually low on body movements, high on screen time; he plays a quiet young heir, given to monosyllables and mono-expressions.

  • Rascals

This one defies a film. You just lose interest after a while. As do the filmmakers. At some point, out of the blue, they just abandon the whole project...

  • The Xpose

But story and plot movement here are of as much consequence as in a porn film. They are merely there, so you can get on with more pressing business.

  • Murder 2

  • Race 3

Salman Khan and company never hint that they’re making a cerebral film, or a film that would offer you anything beyond unabashed entertainment in true Bollywood style. • Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

The one thing that worked for Pyaar Ka Punchnama films was the relatability, even if it was restricted to guys-only discussions. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety doesn’t have that, nor is it funny.

  • Tees Maar Khan

...never-ending hit and mess. It's one thing to repeatedly make 'nudge nudge wink wink' sort of ironic nod to films or 'filmies'. It's quite another to know nothing else.

  • Bank Chor

...the film has been marketed as a comedy but is actually an aspiring comic-thriller. Aspiring, because it fails majorly in being a comedy, and gives us little thrilling experience.

  • Pagalpanti

...appears to be a collection of improvised scenes rather than a film made from a real script. The performances are wooden, dialogues stilted and regressive, and the story – well, there isn’t one. This one is best avoided.
