  • Ghost

Debut director Pooja Jatinder Bedi attempts to make a horror film with all serious intentions. However, instead of my knees shivering in fright, my tummy was aching with all that laughter that she had induced in the process.

  • Gabbar Is Back

The only saving grace of this film is Akshay Kumar, who not only looks dishy with a beard, but does try giving a convincing performance in this not at all convincing film. But then he should have chosen better.

  • Fukrey Returns

A screenplay that appears promising in the first half is interrupted by far too many twists, which do little to lift the film. In fact, in an attempt to verbalise every development, the humour runs thin from the onset of the second half.

  • Fanney Khan

You'd be dumbstruck at the unnecessarily complicated mess that the hero finds himself in, merely to serve the purpose of an over-imagined plot.

...it is evident why Shah Rukh Khan is needed for a film of this sort, and why only someone in his position and with his caliber could do it too.
