  • Mantra

You can see a mile away how things are going to end, and even though you wish the story had given you more, you are forced to shrug and accept the story as it is.

...is too melodramatic and outlandish for its own good. It boats of some great acting and a refreshing concept, but is let down by Balki's crummy writing and ham-handed direction.

...what starts out to be a promising romance between sportspersons (both are wrestlers) soon dives headlong into a horribly predictable tale badly told.

Unfortunately, Vidya Balan who plays the title role cannot save the hopelessly predictable plot. The film is such a terrible, bloated and tastelessly overdone copy of the Shabana Azmi starrer Mandi (1983).

  • Parmanu

John Abraham needs to be applauded for choosing unusual stories. That said, if the execution of this film weren't so shabby, 'Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran' would have been a taut thriller.

  • Notebook

It's an official remake of Nicholas Sparks' romance made by Hollywood a while ago. Except this is set in Kashmir and hence stunning. Plus the newcomers are not bad at all, and the kids are the sweetest.
