    ...is not afraid to take a stand and Jha's sure-footed storytelling is a delight, but what's the point if the issue itself is abandoned mid-way? Still as a film, it remains highly watchable for the performances and the gripping, relevant story.

    ...its simple, no-frills storytelling is refreshing, surrounded as we are by technically overwhelming and highly dramatic films with too much to say. Some could find the film refreshingly minimalist; but many will find it too sparse.

    The more things change, the more they remain the same. That's accurate for Hindi films, at least. On one hand we have subversive formula-breaking films, and on the other, we're clinging desperately to the formula as it were.
