  • Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota

There’s no forced humour or slapstick, just weird thoughts and weirder execution. The film is made in a certain space and once you surrender yourself to it, it’s an outrageous journey that you won’t regret taking.

  • Mantra

In a bid to cover all bases, the film does fall short in reaching a clear conclusion and the execution falls short in places. Still, the story and performances make sure you are involved till the very end.

  • Mantostaan

...seems like the first draft of a potentially unputdownable book. A slightly more experienced filmmaker would have done wonders with it. But in this state, it’s like a decent read with a great epilogue.

  • Manto

Manto is an authentic but jaded observation of a man who defied rules, challenged the status quo and changed the way one looked at life. Watch it for the director's flawless interweaving of Manto's poignant writing into her script and watch it for the words — spoken and unspoken.

  • Manmarziyaan

At times, the story might be a little too deep for millennials, but Manmarziyaan is one of the best romantic movies to come out of Bollywood in a long time.

  • Manjhi

Why this film that had so much potential doesn't deserve superlatives is because of the inconsistency in the story-telling.

  • Manikarnika

...is a well-made film that highlights Kangana’s prowess as an actor. For a first time filmmaker, she undoubtedly shows spark and potential as a storyteller.

  • Malang

The film begins well with a power-packed action scene, and dives straight into the drama. What it does lack is a tighter edit and dialogues that could elevate the narrative.

  • Malaal

...is a simmering love story that sucks you into its world. While it may not have the grandeur and lavish scale usually mounted in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production the mood and ambience created by director Mangesh Hadawale captures the bustle and flavor of a Mumbai chawl beautifully.

  • Makkhi

Though the plot is for the most-part predictable, Makkhi still offers situations that are truly gleeful to the young and the old alike.

  • Main Zaroor Aaunga

Although the film aims to mix the genre of horror with thriller, ‘Main Zaroor Aaunga’ fails to both, thrill and scare the audience, and you may not end up admiring anything but the snowclad mountains in the background.

  • Main Krishna Hoon

The film is not a full-fledged animation film. Barring lord Krishna's character and a few portions, the rest of the film is not animation. We wish the animation part was more as without it, the dramatic story isn't as effective and engaging.

  • Mahabharat

...the animation effort itself is immature and several notches below those of Hollywood films. Yet the dub effort by the Bollywood superstars uplifts this epic, making it enjoyable.

  • Made In China

...carries the message of normalizing conversations around sex and exposing the taboo and hypocrisy surrounding it, which is a commendable effort but it also does get preachy.

  • Madaari

Kudos to Irrfan and Nishikant Kamat for daring to make this poignant, provocative and politically incorrect piece of cinema, that makes its point unabashedly.
