Hamari Adhuri Kahani
It takes the romance out of pain in love. Could there be a worse crime?

Halkaa
Works as the story of a little boy who doesn’t have access to a clean toilet, might seem heavy-handed if watched as a movie with an agenda.

Haider
As good an adaption as it could be, even if it loses pace every once in a while, the other elements keep it going.

Guzaarish
...is an art museum. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the perfectly chiseled curator and Hrithik Roshan an almost statue. And this once, it’s not his acting I’m complaining about, the script demands him to stay put. You are watching them etched in many exotic, exquisite paintings frame after frame. So, what if the very basis of the story is pointless and there are gaping holes which are difficult to digest.

Gunday
As predictable as a movie could get, Gunday's "twist" is the most laughable of them all.

Gully Boy
You are not once distracted from the run-down underdog story, the almost voyeuristic gaze at the poor, and even the touch-and-go attitude towards a range of serious issues like wealth and gender inequality, domestic violence, drug abuse and parental pressure. That’s the power of its dialogue, lyrics, production design, performances, and of course its music.

Gulaab Gang
Something that could have had so much meat and punch, becomes just another common (wo)man vs. system film.

Guddu Rangeela
A thick plot that throws in surprises but ends the usual way – blah. An overwhelming sense of wanting to send a social message, even if understandable, doesn't help the cause.

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein
A cut-and-dry romantic comedy which half-heartedly tries to do more.
Nov 2013

Good Newwz
A story different from the norm gets short-changed because it is treated with a loud dose of melodrama.

Gold
Playing the “independence + partition” card with all its strength but ineffectively, there isn’t anything else too novel about the film.

Go Goa Gone
Much fun and gore - a combination I never thought would've worked. But owing to some witty dialogue and perfectly timed dialogue delivery make Go Goa Gonea watch well worth it.

Ghost
Gore hidden behind special effects. So, no horror. And no comedy either. Tch, what a waste!

Ghayal Once Again
A racy first half gives way to mundane not-so common man vs. system.

Ghanchakkar
...gets you interested and leaves you there. It doesn't move forward and soon enough, gets repetitive and thus predictable.

Gangs Of Wasseypur
You'll watch a great film unfold that is engaging despite being slow and violent.

Gandhi To Hitler
A complete waste of time. The performances are annoying, the characters lack depth. And we are talking about Gandhi and Hitler here!

Gali Gali Chor Hai
A loud and tacky story with more distractions than the story itself makes a decent idea, with a common man behaving like a common man, ineffective.

Gabbar Is Back
One of those films that delivers exactly what you expect only to leave you in a more “meh” mode than you started out with.
May 2015

Fukrey Returns
...had a chance to engage and entertain had it not been for its episodic, often nauseating, slapsticky humour.
Dec 2017

Fukrey
Quirky and fun in the second half, it is a pain to go through in the first half though.
Jun 2013

Fugly
Yet another, "let's fight the system" film. This one takes on way too much and takes way too much time to express itself too.
Jun 2014

Freaky Ali
As plain and dry a sports underdog film as can be. Having you root for the actor, not the character, doesn't bode well for a film.

Force 2
As inane as an action film can get. It's fight to have a relevant story is futile because it is nothing more than the usual sequences of chase sequences.

Force
...a perfect masala film, which also means, it is perfectly predictable. And yet, Force keeps you engaged.
