  • Kedarnath

An attempt at telling a done-to-death love story in a new way, with a different backdrop. Succeeds for a bit and then takes a turn that makes it visually engaging but emotionally not as much.

  • Karthik Calling Karthik

...the twist is indeed worth the time because it's not 100% predictable. If nothing else Farhan Akhtar's ace performance is something you will relish for quite a while.

  • Kalank

A reasonably complex plot for a love triangle spoiled by shifting focus from the details in the story to reasonably well-done grandeur and opulence. Results in a play-like set-up without due regard for nuance.

  • Kai Po Che!

...is sketchy yet engaging. It is abrupt and half-baked but the performances and music alone make the film worth a watch.

  • Kahaani

An extremely quirky atmosphere is created by the camera, the narrative, the sound, the music and Vidya Balan. An experience that might seem incomplete if not watched on the big screen.

  • Kadvi Hawa

A quiet film that aims to simmer uneasiness within. But, alternating between showing life in a village and telling a story, Kadvi Hawa manages to pace itself too unevenly to create impact.

  • Kaalakaandi

If you can watch a film just for performances, this one is it. Otherwise, it is two ordinary stories that go well enough with a madcap one. The quirky situations and lines bring a few smiles.

  • Judwaa 2

Unabashedly silly. Brings a smile or two, even if soulless – that's exactly what you expect though, right?

  • Judgemental Hai Kya

The quirks are well placed and done well too. The basic plot though tries to make us believe it is complex and its characters have complexities, but that’s only skin deep. Ultimately then, the film feels like an experiment that doesn’t land too well.

...is sincere in intent and has perfect lead performances. But unfortunately, it isn't able to create a crisp environment.

...is very intentionally silly and gets cute at times. It keeps things simple despite the seemingly complicated situation it gets itself into and it is clean.

  • Jodi Breakers

There are a few moments where you begin to hope for chemistry between the lead pair only to see it fizzle away into a ridiculous story.

  • Jo Hum Chahein

An obnoxious, self-centered boy comes of age. And he cannot act. Neither can the women or men who help him come of age in their ways. And the women are a few of the most gullible ones I've seen in ages, even on screen!

  • Jism - 2

...does nothing to you. It has no material to invoke any kind of emotion from you. Except maybe for a few unintentional laughs.

  • Jhootha Hi Sahi

...initial set-up is hilarious and mucho fun. But, set that aside and almost everything is superficial, improbable, and many-a-time outright stupid.

  • Jazbaa

Warped and not in a good way. After a decent start, completely warps logic and the associated human element.

  • Jawaani Jaaneman

It is funny, but not enough. It is a good one-line plot but stays just about that. It tries very hard to tug at your heart but eventually is a collection of carefully laid out tropes.

  • Jannat 2

...feels like a film that could've been a film worth watching once if it had a little better of everything, especially better actors to play the side characters and the villain.

  • Jail

...Madhur Bhandarkar has taken upon himself to sensitize his audience to the plight of the people who live in a world we know exists and choose to ignore. He does so in a matter-of-fact tone. He doesn't sermonize, he doesn't glamorize.
