  • I

The technological brilliance and aesthetic understanding of Shankar is clearly still there and that is one thing we can't take away from I, but the one thing that could keep you hooked is more sincere performance than a genuinely compelling story point.

  • The Shaukeens

...emerges as a one-time watch, a less than underwhelming follow up to Abhishek Sharma's pathbreaking debut film. But the Khiladi keeps it afloat enough to not seem like a complete waste of time.

  • Bombay Velvet

A viewer who goes with expectations of being blown away by a wholesome tale of power, greed and deceit may return disappointed. This one is for those who love a good-looking film and a good-looking pair, whose love story is immersed in nostalgia and old-school over-simplicity.

  • Dozakh

Dozakh could have been a lot more in the hands of a more seasoned or skilled director. As a rough edit attempt at adaptation, this one is simply a onetime watch at best.

  • Chaar Sahibzade

...is probably a great DVD buy (when it does come out on home video) to educate your kids on truly rooted story about love, courage and loyalty. I would have enjoyed it more in traditional 2D animation or live action format.

When it comes to thrills, the film has many moments that will jolt you in surprise or awe and keep you at the edge of the seat. But the film's main winner is its script.

  • Kill Dil

Despite its predictability, some fun elements and novel techniques in storytelling, make it a a fun-time watch while it lasts.

  • Second Hand Husband

...can't be considered comedy gold by any standard, but it does a pretty good job in presenting some outrageous and unrealistically hilarious situations about how the human mind is almost always capricious.

  • Mary Kom

...ends up being a mildly entertaining ode to any sportsperson's rise to the top. It has no specificity, no special element that separates it from the rest.

  • Badmashiyaan

It's a real shame that Badmashiyaan is a second-rate Bollywood film with a cast boasting of virtually unknown and largely non-talented actors, because it really isn't as bad as one would think.

  • Khoobsurat

...is definitely not unwatchable. It's probably something people flip through when they don't have a lunch or a cricket match on a Sunday afternoon.

  • Kick

Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut doesn't really cater to anybody in particular. It's too complicated and emotionally tripe-y for Salman Khan lovers and far too dumb for anyone else.

...it's a passable attempt because it starts off well and keeps you engaged at certain intervals.

  • Ek Villain

The story has its moments and tries to give some interesting twists but isn't compelling enough to give you the thrills you were so desperately hoping for thanks to its lifeless leads.

  • Sonali Cable

The film had potential to be something almost ground-breaking. But all it does is shatter the hopes of the small audience it caters to.
