  • Sniff

Movies appropriate for kids are few in B-Town and this is good opportunity to get a peek into their real world. But be patient with the film, like one is with children.

  • Heroine

If you are a Madhur Bhandarkar fan, I would recommend you skip this one. One, it may be disappointing; two, you’ve seen all this before. If you are a Kareena Kapoor fan, it’s a treat.

  • Wazir

Worth one visit for sure for AB Sr's superlative acting and some ceetee-worthy dialogue. As a thrilling drama, it has some bite, but as a suspenseful tale, it lacks teeth.

  • Batla House

Watch it for the depiction of real-life incidents and the obvious cinematic liberties. It’s not really the Independence Day treat but makes for a good one-time watch.

  • Dear Dad

...touches upon a brave and important subject of acceptance, love and compassion, we wish the film was able to have a wider reach with a better storyline.

  • Babumoshai Bandookbaaz

...it comes across as a superficial attempt at building a world that would definitely be more interesting that what's portrayed. It also relies rather heavily of Nawaz's ability to breathe life into such movies.

  • Gippi

There is something innocent and vulnerable about Gippi that touches a chord, but it is the unnecessary mix and match of clichéd moments and mundane dialogues that prevents the film from rising above the ordinary.

  • Sarbjit

The director's handling of the subject is erratic and amateurish, almost seeming that he is confused on how to position a film like this.

  • Ok Jaanu

Despite being set in 2017 with a contemporary look and feel, Ok Jaanu's idea of love feels dated. Brand placement in the middle of a romantic scene that's meant to evoke some emotion is a terrible idea!

  • Satyameva Jayate

...does not give you too many reasons to go and watch it. Though it is the kind of film that wants you to sympathise with its characters, the plot leaves you so utterly confused that you just want to forget this blood fest.

  • Besharam

This is Ranbir's experiment to see whether he can successfully do the films that Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar have knocked out of the park.

  • Besharam

...boasts of lavish backdrops and picturesque settings but is devoid of intensity, so much so that it almost looks superficial.

  • Satyagraha

You can't make a film about what is wrong with the system, while surrendering to the system. It is a cop-out. Satyagraha could have been so much more had it taken the Madras Cafe route and made an honest, hard-hitting film. The bollywood-isation of the film is what ruins it.

  • Shab

The writing also lacks finesse in certain scenes and feels disjointed or incomplete. There is a cloud of a Madhur Bhandarkar film like Page 3 or Fashion that looms large over the second half of Shab.
