  • Desi Boyz

If Rohit Dhawan who has inherited his father David Dhawan's style and, unfortunately, also his cinematic vacuity wanted to take up a mature subject like this, then why did he have to dumb it down so much?

  • Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey

...one expected a sense of excitement, if not immediacy, when watching this saga unfold. Unfortunately, the film is only slightly better than a droning, boring old-style Films Division documentary.

  • Lanka

...film plods on to a predictable end, while its slow pace forces the audience to keep waiting for something to happen...

  • Housefull 2

Nobody would object to a mindless comedy, if it was done well.  But since Housefull was a hit, and audiences have proved to be woefully passive when making their ‘timepass’ choices,  Sajid Khan can wilfully pass off this excessive silliness as entertainment.

  • Don 2

From Farhan Akhtar one expects more. And don’t even get started on the awkward plotting and the lapses in logic...nobody watches a thriller with those expectations.

  • Toonpur Ka Superrhero

The kiddie audience the film is aimed at, has seen so much better on TV and big screen, that Toonpur is bound to evoke yawns. It is so lacking in pace and humour that the really little ones might just doze off.

...the film shoot off on so many directions, with so little purpose, that you give up keeping track after a while.

  • Ready

Admittedly, the film is not meant for those looking for sensible cinema, but for those who go to the cinema just get some 'timepass'.

  • Isi Life Mein

The kind of quasi progressiveness the film puts forward, has now been appropriated by television, so the film is like watching a TV serial on big screen.

  • Thank You

It is not in the least bit funny. No Entry, Masti and Shaadi No 1, were not either, but they were not as offensive as this one. The lines are cringe-worthy, the performances mechanical.

  • Teen Thay Bhai

So you have good actors, great DOP, lovely location equaling a film that remains snowed under with poor gags, lousy lines, and a romantic track of no consequence.
