Thank You
Critic reviews and ratings
-
Is this a case of playing safe for the director who has recently burned his hands at the box office or is it a drought of story ideas that seems to be Bollywood's biggest scourge?
-
...promises you a huge passel of nothing: no story, no sense. On all those scores, it doesn't disappoint.
-
If you liked No Entry, Thank You won't disappoint.
-
What could've been an honest take on dishonesty fails to leave a mark eventually.
-
...what can a Kumar or a Khan do, when there's no script. Go through the motions, of course. Question is: do YOU want to?
-
Annes Bazmee should perhaps say 'sorry' for offering nothing new in Thank You.
-
...shows promise in the first- half of the flick, but fails to hold its own in the second- half.
-
...witless, soul-sucking...
-
The public better like this flick. After all, crores get spent on such trash.
-
...in a nutshell, no thank you.
-
...a feeble attempt at comedy.
-
It's brainless, it's banal, it's boring - nothing short of what you expect from an Anees Bazmi film.
-
...a sorry mess...
-
Badly scripted, shoddily photographed and embarrassingly performed, 'Thank You' is one of those rare films that gets absolutely nothing right.
-
It is not in the least bit funny. No Entry, Masti and Shaadi No 1, were not either, but they were not as offensive as this one. The lines are cringe-worthy, the performances mechanical.
-
This film is bad by even Anees Bazmee's standards. This is personal regression in a string of regressive movies.
-
...ridiculous, boring and avoidable.
-
...this is the worst film one has seen in the longest time.
-
...is everything that's wrong with Hindi cinema. It takes the audience for granted. Silly jokes, vague storyline and performances that deserve rotten tomatoes...
