  • Great Grand Masti

...has all the regular trappings to satisfy the average adult comedy aficionado. But if you expect even the slightest amount of grace and intelligence in your cinema, you’ll have to look away.

...is average fare, but when it comes down to the strength of certain ideas at work, it does manage to keep a tight hold on its audience.

  • Shorgul

...tries to tell a tale of merit. But the methods it employs to tell its story are so jaded, you just lose your faith in the film.

  • Junooniyat

There isn't really much to see in Junooniyat that hasn't already been seen and done much better in the past. Guess the passion isn't strong enough with this one.

  • Raman Raghav 2.0

...it can only be enjoyed if you can accept misogyny, death and gore as integral parts of reality. Otherwise, this movie can be quite the nerve-wracking experience.

  • Dhanak

If you believe in inspirational Instagram posts and the power of positivity, Dhanak is the film for you. The cynics might find the lack of gritty realism a bit too much, but even the most hardcore realists will agree that this little road movie ticks all the boxes when it comes to ending on a happy note.

  • Veerappan

It's not the worst film Ram Gopal Varma has made. Nor is it any close to his best. It's just a middle-of-the-road offering where seeing an actor look like the mirror image of Veerappan catches your fancy for a few fleeting moments.

  • Sarbjit

Some stories deserve to be told with nuance and intimacy. You can't employ movie making formula when you're trying to depict reality and tragedy with authenticity.

  • 1920 London

The usual characteristics of a horror film, like eerie music, make-up, special effects and moody cinematography are all lackluster though. If you like genuine thrills you'd have to look away. This one's just for gags.

  • Fan

It’s a unique concept, it’s been executed by some masterful CGI and SRK has dug deep into his reserves to give a stellar double-role performance.

  • Kapoor & Sons

Director / writer Shakun Batra's and his co-writer Ayesha Deveitre Dhillon are the true heroes of this film. Their story, their dialogue and the situations they've created add great depth to the movie.

  • Jai Gangaajal

It’s a pure masala entertainer with vigilante justice by the masses as its main course. It does try to say that it’s hard to control the fire when the mob grows on rampage.

  • Zubaan

...this unconventional story is crisp and the first half steals the show. The second half is slow in parts and the end is a tad rushed.

  • Tere Bin Laden Dead Or Alive

We don’t make broad comedies which border on the absurd and it’s good of Abhishek Sharma to attempt a political satire that does tickle the ivories. A little more attention to editing and tauter screenplay would have made it a better film for sure…

  • LoveShhuda

...watch Loveshhuda to recollect and smile back at your own drunken binges. Watch it with your gang and then proceed to have a few for the road…you might just need them…
