1920 London
Critic reviews and ratings
-
...an engrossing fare with the right amount of eerie and scary moments.
-
...this is a drab effort with hardly a shock sandwiched between all the frills, frocks and Rajput finery.
-
Black magic, achhi atma-buri atma, lemon with red chillies, a couple of namahs, rivers, babas and everything clichéd have been put in action here. It’s more like light, camera, clichés!
-
It seems 1920 London has been made JUST to take the franchise forward. Not only is the story done-to-death, there is hardly anything spooky about it.
-
The audience will surely come out with a dismal face as the film is a cliché love story rather than a horror flick.
-
A haunted mansion, rocking chairs, creaky sounds, a damsel in distress, a possessed man, an exorcist are all extremely gimmicky.
-
Hats off for at least the ambition...
-
The movie starts out to be interesting then goes through an entire checklist of horror movie cliches until you are weary...
-
The usual characteristics of a horror film, like eerie music, make-up, special effects and moody cinematography are all lackluster though. If you like genuine thrills you'd have to look away. This one's just for gags.
