    The trouble is, they try to Bollywoodise it. There's so much glamour and chest thumping patriotism that unwittingly the audience begins to discover flaws.

    ...it is a film typical of the 1990s Hindi cinema. David Dhawan has a knack for comedy, but with these serial remakes of his comedy classics, he has only overstayed his welcome.

    The biggest problem in the movie is similar to the problems in most of the movies we see - Screenplay and dialogues. The writer never seems to attempt to bring in any reasoning and the director is too happy creating nice looking visuals.

    ...can be seen for Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn and also for the Bollywoodishness of it. For the ones disinterested in these elements, Tezz isn't the film for you.

    The final battle to the death is worth the watch, but when you see religion, patriotism, propaganda and soldiering mix in a movie timed for release during elections in India, you want to cringe but that would be politically incorrect.

    The film checks all the boxes of stereotypes and yet only a couple of scenes manage to touch you. It's neither Dangerous Minds, nor is it To Sir With Love. Rani Mukherji needed a stronger, smarter script.

    Hair pulling and name calling gets boring after an hour. And the story remains stationary until the last ten minutes, and the end is so obvious, you just groan as you exit the theater.
