  • Kaalo

...the horror exists only as long as Kaalo stays out of the frame as an ominous presence in the backdrop. Once the apparition flies into the frame, the fear ironically flees because Kaalo seems to be having a bad make-up day.

  • Kaalakaandi

Even as you continue to watch the film patiently, beyond a point, it's nothing to write home about. You eventually sum up your thoughts on the film by borrowing the film's expletive-laden dialogue —, 'experimental ke naam pe chu*****'?

  • Kaagaz

...could have been the go-to movie for all those inspiration-seeking individuals but ends up being a masterclass on one man’s acting prowess. Not that we are complaining, but the film had the potential to blow our minds. Chose not to, instead!

  • Junooniyat

In all fairness, Pulkit and Yami breathe life into their characters. We wish they were not saddled with such a lacklustre script.

  • Junglee

Watch Junglee for its spellbinding action, cute elephants and gorgeous jungles. Such an adventurous and brave attempt is rare in Hindi cinema.

  • Julie 2

Even though the story is set in current times, the narrative plays out like a 90s masala flick. The dialogues must have been written to induce wolf-whistles but are cringeworthy to say the least.

  • Judgemental Hai Kya

The film pushes the envelope as a dark, psychological whodunit, with a social message weaved in that can’t be ignored. The film treads into a zone where Bollywood has rarely been, and just for that, it deserves applause.

  • Jolly L.L.B.

...works because of its bigger point - decency is for all and worth fighting for. Using bittersweet satire and plot twirls, the film shows corruption even used against the corrupt.

  • Jhootha Hi Sahi

...largely follows the idiom which Abbas Tyrewala enunciated in his debut venture, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, reiterating his use of youthful lingo (strange becomes ajeebs here), wisecrack humour and 'cool gang' bonding, with a celebration -- and a spoof -- of the traditional Bollywood 'andaaz' (style) of essaying romance.

  • Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai

Choppy dubbing and lazy editing seal the movie’s fate. Almost two-and-a-half hours later when you’re defeated by a film that doesn’t seem to end, there’s a song so tacky, you feel you’ve had it. But does it end there? No...

  • Jazbaa

Gupta, known to be sounder with technique than story-telling (many of his films have been foreign inspirations), has got it right this time.
