...made me wonder, what makes me sadder - a film which starts off very well, but ends up being just about average or one that isn't enjoyable at all.

  • Chase

Run away. And run away fast. You don’t want to watch a bunch of non-actors in a shabbily edited thriller, even if the story is not-bad.

  • Chance Pe Dance

...if the characters are going to behave like you'd expect them to, and if they are going to spout lines, ad verbatim what's playing in your mind, the story is bound to be predictable. There's no attempt to deviate from the norm.

...gets predictably preachy. No surprises there. It fails to teach in an interesting way despite being in the capable hands of Shabana Azmi, Juhi Chawla and Divya Dutta.

  • Chaalis Chauraasi

...starts out with witty one-liners and some awesome comic timing by the finest of performers fizzles out after the first half hour. A decent basic plot riddled by need for item numbers and long-drawn scenes that make the writers look clueless.

  • Calendar Girls

Starts off and continues with awful dubbing, follows up with mostly awful acting, fills up with reinforcing stereotypes and finishes up with predictable story-telling.

  • Bubble Gum

A clean, fresh movie about growing up in 1980's India. Family, friendship and love (in that order) are the elements of this teen-capers flick.

  • Brothers

Long, slow and futile. A few smooth yet powerful action moves. That's it. Then, the only words that linger are - long, slow and futile.

  • Bombay Velvet

The lyrical noir and violence are enjoyable while they last. Unfortunately, not beyond that though. Before long, the plot starts getting convoluted.

  • Bol

The heart doesn't reach out to any of Bol's characters. It is slow and gets repetitive and preachy about serious topics like mistreatment of the girl-child and sexual orientation. The treatment doesn't let you get too involved.

  • Bodyguard

For once, a film made me wish it didn't have a story and was the usual Salman Khan "cool". That, at least I'm prepared for. The attempt at putting in a sorry, convoluted twists just kill whatever other fun you could have had.

  • Blood Money

A strong middle hour sandwiched between twenty minutes of silliness at the beginning and an absurd last half hour, make Blood Money hanging between engaging and ridiculous.

  • Bittoo Boss

...has a couple insights about society and its outlook towards porn and sex. But it puts these points across in a dull, jerky manner and often without energy. Not discardable, neither enjoyable.

  • Bhoothnath Returns

Though it is a tad too naïve and preachy, and a little too long for it's own good, the film attempts to make a point that a number of us can learn from; it is a well-acted film with some genuine moments.

  • Bhoot Returns

With next to nothing happening in the first 70 minutes and a disgustingly horrifying last 20 minutes, Bhoot Returns pretty much yells dont watch me.
